Before we begin our day, or while we are on the bus or train or walking on our way to our main daily activity, and when we can throughout the day, we can silently say or think to ourselves,
Today, I am the music of peace. Around me is peace, within me is peace, within my heart is peace, in the space all about me is the gentle music of peace.
We do not have to be great musicians or even musicians at all to experience this. We all know the experience of beautiful music that carries us, that we feel in our bodies, and hear in our mind. We do not necessarily even need to "hear" anything, but we can create that feeling that such sounds offer.
In this way, truly we ourselves can become the music of peace that heals ourselves, and others.
